Ring and pinion have already been abused for two years now as well as the arb frt locker. Everything seems to be holding up pretty well so far. Worth every penny!

The RCV axles bind and make an awful clicking sound in 4WD. Big PIA. They may claim that they are "un-breakable", but Jason at high country 4x4 is running them on his taco and he as broken one.

You'll find that with stronger cv's like the RCV's or others that they will just cause the next weak link to break (Front Diff). Not saying stronger cv's are bad, I'm running lotus axles, but unfortunately they were so strong they caused my diff to blow. Hoping that a stronger ARB in the front will help out with that.

From my experience I would say stay away from the RCV's.

if they are doing that then the should be sent back to RCv and they will fix it, all the RCVs ive been around have never clicked or bound up under any conditions... and yes ive seen one break and RCV replaced it for free too -not trying to call you a liar or pick a fight, just saying the binding and clicking is not normal

Yeah its definitely not normal. That's why they have been sent back 4 times now. The 5th time they are going to be sent back for a refund. They suck.

Expect spending close to $3000 for it, especially if you buy an ARB and brand new tires.

My build right now is reaching the 6k mark. Probably not stopping there either.

thats crazy. I have $2400 in gears, f+r lockers and tires. It really adds up building your own diffs. Plus dont keep track of you build with receipts... it can get depressing.

OH my Painful.. thats crazy.. I figure I could search for some deals and save a bit. But to be able to wheel it and drive it alot I still need 5.29 gears and then a front locker. And those are something I wouldn't want to go cheap with. Maybe one day I'll get 35's but no time soon. maybe on my next rig.

Hey you have them fancy locker though Mine may have been $2500 wither way it was right around there. I did them all at different times so who knows.

I got my 315/70R17's installed today. I used 1 pound of airsoft BB's in each tire and there is no vibration at all with these Treadwrights. Hopefully I can get them up in the snow this weekend and really try them out.

yall suck! i just want you to all know that i am blaming each and everyone of you who posted pics with a runner on 35s for this; my next set of tires will be 35s, they look so majestic on a 3rd gen its like god himself owns one, and drives it everywhere! so to each and every one of you -:flipoff: for taking $1200-1500 away from me some time in the next 2-3 years.

im gonna try to do it with just a 3" suspension lift, you all said that 285s would not fit on a stock runner and proved you all wrong, so im gonna try to prove you all wrong once more and do it with no bl and have it functional as a 4wheeler too (*1" bl if i have to*)
