Official Classics Lift and Tire thread

Question to all those with the experience... Thinking of 33 12.5 15 on my currently stock 95, and based on the info gather above, I should probably consider gears at some point to bring up the RPMs. That said, are the diffs the same for the V6 vs. 4 banges? Was wondering if I found a set of 4.56 or 4.88s on a 6 banger (more popular and easier to find @ junkyards) can I swap in the diffs into my 22R 5 speed equipped truck? And will the ADD I currently have be a concern as far as matching up the diffs?

33" Grabbers

Had 33 10.50 15s put on my 94 runner. It has 4.88s in it and 30s on it when I bought it. Nightmare on the freeway. Now its pretty close to factory gearing. Everything clears with no rubbing. I'm going to run it as is for a bit and see if I can get away without a lift.

35x12.5R15 Goodyear wrangler mtr w/Kevlar. Have been very happy with the performance if these.
4" procomp front and rear. 5.29 gears front and rear, Detroit locker in the rear.

You have almost the same setup as me besides ifs and I have BFGs.

Here is mine... 100% stock with 33x10.50x15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2's... NO RUBBING, even at full lock!

thank you! its very hard to find a 4runner up here in bc with no rust, so I bought an imported hilux surf instead!

your rig looks very clean and rust free! and Ive had a few 4runners like yours, 33s with no lift and no rubbing!

Ill play. Mines a 86 with a slight T-Bar crank, and 6in WabFab shackles in the back. Running 31x10.5x15 GoodYear Wrangler Authority's Hopefully soon I can afford to get some new leafs for the back, and new shocks all the way around. Also wanna re-gear and throw a locker in the back.

BJ spacers up front, stock in the rear. Waiting for the time to wrestle in my LC coils and bils...

4crawler 1.5in BJ spacers, torsion bars cranked to about 1in thread showing, to avoid rubbing. 285/75/16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo2 on stock 3rd gen wheels, that need paint...
