OME or FJ coils?

only if you have excessive lean. some say put it in from the get go so you aren't pulling your suspension apart later, but i personally installed everything, let it settle, then decided that i didn't need the spacer

I have the bilstein and fj lift right now and I am looking to change it already.
What I am looking at is OME 885 up front with the bilsteins and OME 895 with OME sport shocks out the back. I will probly cut down my current spacer for any additional height in the rear. Not sure where I will set the 5100's int he front. I will also be getting LR UCA's so I am thinking about the middle spot plus the 2 inches from the springs....Crap. Now I have to go back through the lift thread and see what others are running before starting my own thread.:moping:

Ask yourself what this vehicle is primary for?
If you do alot of offroading and flex. Id go with OME.
If you want a more comfortable ride less stiff mainly used for road. Go FJ..
Used FJ and top spacer would be a bit cheaper
I felt OME was a bit stiff in the rear for my 3rd gen. But I did not have load. The front felt perfect.
The current FJ on my 4th gen feels great. However I dont go offroad much. Besides mild and camping areas.
The delema is you want a 3'' lift. Probably a better ride with OME springs in the front so you will get full travel on the struts instead of using the ride adjustment on the bilstiens.
Also, is my gas mileage going to suffer with a lift? What about going up to 265/70/17?
I'm trying to decide whether I want to stay with the Geolandar 265/65/17 because I already have 2 newer ones on the car already, or if I want to go up to 70's. Then it's deciding if I want to stay with the Geolandars or go to the Duratracs.
