OPOR Sliders Installed

Sure. I will try to post some pics tomorrow. I ordered same as what Jono has pictured above - dimple die front and rear, powder coated.

Mine didn't come with any install instructions. It's pretty straight forward. I'm not sure about how the LE OPOR sliders are but I wouldn't think they are too different from the ones I installed on my SR5. You have extra brackets and way more hardware. Neither of which look like OPOR or Metal Tech's own sliders.
 
Here are pics of my install. The LE slider has two legs vs. three I see on other models - I suspect because the third leg would mount where the XREAS center control absorber assembly is. Just loosened the XREAS system, slid the plate behind the XREAS lines and then secured the gusset around them as shown in the pictures. Hope this helps. Turns out they sent me twice as many brass/gold-colored bolts as required which initially contributed to my confusion. Used all the other hardware shown in the previous post's pictures once I learned where to use each of the lock washers and flat washers.

Ok, I see now. All of that other hardware and brackets are so you can clear your XREAS lines.
 
Wow that's a lot of extra junk just to clear the xreas hard lines. The brackets look pretty strong, I wonder why they added the cutouts rather than keeping it one solid piece?
 
Ground Clearance?

These look excellent. How much did they affect ground clearance? Do they hang much lower than other low points under the truck? Thanks in advance!

No, it doesn't effect the ground clearance that much. I bought the ones that allow the rocker panels to stay in place and the slider sits right underneath with very little space between the two components.

I haven't had mine through the winter yet. I hadn't gotten mine with the powdercoat, just used Rustoleum truck bedliner spray. I know the powdercoat would be more durable in the winter though.
 
First off I'm a newb so any advice is well appreciated.

Although my 4R is not 4X4, I'm considering getting these for a few reasons:
1)I'm short 5'3" so its work to get into any vehicle.
2)The factory OEM running boards make the 4R look funky IMO. As do most "aftermarket" boards.
3)I live in Louisiana it's mostly flat, but I use my 4R in every way possible, I tow a bass boat, and 14' trailer, also using the roof bars. (these OPOR's would make reaching the roof alot easier)

Also, I plan to get somewhat beefier tires because of my weekend activities so I think these bars would look fine.

Are these a good idea for me or what do you guys think, again I prefer the look with out the boards but would love some help.

These sliders are great!

I have a set on my TE and I went with a full plate and I also asked them not to weld on the top of the plates but rather just below.
