OPOR Sliders Installed

Just got my OPOR sliders in the other day. i ordered just before they offered the 20% off but LT gave it to me anyways which was pretty awesome of him to do. i had asked for the dimple die juts for the front and rear but they put it all the way across but its not a big deal i can live with it. THEY LOOK GREAT i can't wait to finish them off(ordered as bare metal so i could prep and bed-liner spray them. i just hope i can get them ready and installed before i go to Rausch Creek on the 28th! (going to the outer banks tomorrow for a week! :)

would love to see a picture of them. The picture on their website are a bit small.
 
Just called and it turns out they are out of the OPOR sliders for the trail and they will be shipping a week from Friday.
 
Just ordered my OPOR SR5 Sliders, with front and rear dimple die, and powder coated.

Looks like they are about 2-3 weeks out. Once they are in, I'll be posting some pics! Can't wait to get these on!
 
Man, I wish there was a deal going on when I bought mine. At least I got 10% for being a member on here. That was a plus.
 
cans of truck bed liner

For anyone that's used the spray cans of truck bed liner.

How many cans did it take for the number of coats that you applied?

Mine should be arriving tomorrow.

I believe I did one can a piece. I should have used more. Also used it on my skids.
 
Installed my OPOR Sliders Today

I installed my OPOR sliders yesterday. Overall I love the look and style of them. As far as install goes it took me about 2 hours by myself. Another set of hands would have been helpful but not a deal breaker. Some instructions would have been nice when it came to installation on the driver's side with regard to the KDSS system on my TE.
My biggest criticism is the attachment to the frame. I don't believe that it will be sufficient to carry the weight of the frame as a true slider would. There are only 2 screws per arm which doesn't seem enough to really carry the weight of the truck. I will be taking steps to secure the sliders to the truck more securely.
All that aside, I bought the sliders to be a step into the truck as well as a slider and they work perfectly for that. My 5'3" tall girlfriend and her 4' tall sone had a much easier time getting in and out of the truck. As well it made getting things up to the roof much easier for me. (I am 6'1") I have attached some pictures of the install as well.

I have not installed mine yet, sitting in garage. Where does the bracket attach on the driver side. Can you snag a picture when you get a chance.

The extra one that get's bolted on. In my delivery I got the two sliders and a small bracket. Trying to figure where that get's bolted on. I assume the middle where the KDS system sits.

Actually it goes on the last bracket towards the real wheel on the driver's side. That bracket is split to allow the KDSS lines to go through the middle of the bracket

All the sliders mount the same using two bolts per arm. This is my second set as I had Rocky Road and those used 6 bolts total/side. At least these come with 10.9 grade bolts vs. the 8.8 that came with the other ones...only way to increase strength/attachment to frame is to weld them on
 
If you order the model for the LE/SR5 then no cutting, otherwise you will need to trim to fit any TE slider or buy the shockworks trim.
