I see this will be one of the fastest builds ever, dont kill it with body damage. You guys are making a rather ugly color looking very cool and desirable. Nice work!
 
I am stopping myself from taking the advanced run this weekend at a Calico get together.. Taking the scenic stocker run instead :moping: Told myself no real crawling till I get some armor on the rig.
 
Not a fan of the color, but I know that eventually this is gonna be a good build. Keep the updates coming. Ready to see those sliders.

Will be on the same Calico run and trying real hard not to say " Come on, you can make it just follow me"
 
I wasn't so sure of that color when I first saw it, but it's starting to look better and better! I actually felt the same way about my blue 4Runner, but it's grown on me much over the last couple of years and I'm really liking it. I can't wait to see more progression on this beauty!

So I have been talking about a new slider design...

This set is for a FJ80 but basically it is the same idea, they are only half finished but you can kind of get the idea.

These will get 1.5 tube kickers with dimpled plates for traction on top.

The 4 runner style will be much sleeker as there isnt as much body to cover up. Also they will have a few touches that I am keeping secret till they are ready :guitar3:
 
Excitied to see what the sliders and rear bumper look like.

Hopefully I'll still be able to use my rear ladder with the bumper
 
Rig is looking sweet!! I know the color gets some criticism, however I really like the color!! I am sure it will look even better with all the armor and accessories!!
 
Wow those look burley.
+1 on the dimples for traction idea. My 4xinnovations sliders are slippery in the wet. Might have to put some old skate board grip tape on them.

Pikeman and I headed out to Calico to do some wheeling and mine exploration. I will say wheeling an open diff rig on 33 with IFS front is a whole new wheeling experience. Made stuff fun that would have been not so interesting in my other rigs. It will take a little getting used to, but it is a super quiet ride and a soft one. The TOYTECH lift is awesome, I think I was able to get the Runner up to 65 MPH on the dirt roads through the whoops! Here are a couple of pics of the new Runner out in the wild :)

I really like the Hankooks. Had them on my FJ. Rides looking great! Sure hate your shop is all the way on the west coast!
 
I need to get some rock protection on her first... I dont like taking the bunny slopes :D The it will on!
Getting out there has given me many ideas of needed items. I am going to make a dead leg pedal. My left leg was searching for a place to brace it self all day.
Cage have some ideas for a bolt in system...
Sliders
Skids
Sway-bar disconnects
Rear control arms
