I kinda like the dimple dye stuff on the bumpers....probably would have just done the center section of the rear though, and the very front of the front bumper....but that is my 2 cents.

As for the wheels and tires, they look great! Your rubbing issues should be eliminated with the 1" body lift, or 8 wrap coils. I'm running the 285's / 8 wraps and on my last off-road trip, had no rubbing issues in the back anymore.....

The wheel paint is Duplicolor Graphite wheel paint HWP102

Awesome. I have some of that in my garage! Bought it a few months ago but never got to painting my wheels. THanks.

Color combo looks good on the wheels. The dimple dies on the stock bumper is different, but I like it too. If you powder coated the bumpers to match the stock flares or wheels it'd look way better IMO. Or even rattle can them till you get some bumpers fabbed.

I know a few guys who don't rub with 285's but these 255's seem taller when mounted on the factory 16X7 wheel. Mathematically they measure to be similar height, but in the real world, the 255's are noticeably taller. I just need to build a bumper or remove the end pieces when taking it out on the trails.

I agree black would look better.. less noticeable more subtle :thumb3:. JMO and you know what they say about opinions... ha. Nice job with the rims and truck in general, very tough :gun6:

I dont even think the OP runs those tires anymore. Wheels are the same though.

I'm still running the same wheel and color. I did go back to silver for a short time. I couldn't stay away from the gun metal, looks the cleanest with my color.

I installed a set of 255 KM2's after running 2N17X with some fellow members........ Jmoney, Brian2Sun, Drifter33, Duhockey, COB, and OCMike. Here's my dilemma, the tires look great and don't make a ton of noise. But, they do rub pretty bad. The rear is the worst. I'd say there's a good 1/2" interference between the bumper and tire. The front hits the pinch weld pretty bad.
For the guys running 255's without a body lift what did you have to do to eliminate the rubbing? Also, let me know what you prefer, the before or after photos?
