Hey audiness I'm looking for the coolant block drain plugs not the freeze plugs. And I did Google that and didn't find any helpful info. I thought that since this was a forum other members would have some knowledge about this. I'm trying to do a coolant flush on a 2003 Toyota 4-runner v-8

I do not have a picture but they are easy to get to. Look up from the bottom of the engine toward the rear of each side of the block. You will see a petcock with a place to attach a small hose to drain the coolant into a bucket. I think it is a 10mm hex head that you loosen to drain the coolant. Make sure you do both sides of the block. Very easy to do. Use a long extension with a swivel socket.

Try here. The photos are from a V-6, but the drains looks the same, bottom of block at the rear (towards passenger compartment).Some more searching should turn up recommended tools and socket size. ;-) You'll need a wobble/universal connector and an 24" extension (18" might work), IIRC...can't remember the socket size. With the rad and block, you'll need 3 gallons of coolant; systems holds 13 quarts, I drained/filled 11ish...YMMV.
With a 2003, you're probably a *bit* overdue. The factory fill (red, LLC) on the '03 V-8s was supposed to be changed every 30K. If you replace with SLLC (pink), you'll be good for 50K changes.
