Plastidip Trail Wheels w/ Pictures

I just painted mine the other day. This is anthracite gray from dipyourcar.com. I bought the wheel kit (comes with 4 cans - two gray and two anthracite gray). Still have a lot left over.

DAMN that looks good. I am going to have to do this with my 05 sport wheels. Didn't want to spend the $$ on new wheels, but really really wanted the 'gunmetal' look. Thanks for posting!

Painted the wheels and center caps black. I removed the Toyota emblem and left that silver.

I did this to my '03 Rubicon. It holds up pretty well- the most damage mine showed was from the tire shop. Easy to touch up.

I'm selling the Jeep now, and just went through removing the plastidip- do yourself a favor & put a couple of extra coats on. The thicker it is, the easier it is to peel off(it holds together more, pulling off in larger pieces instead of having to peel a million little ones off). Once you've peeled all you can, PB blaster works great to soften & remove it. I also tried Goo Off, but I think PB works better.
