Please provide info! Donahoe Racing (now icon suspension)

Found a post on FB for these, and would love some info. Would it be worth it?

(2) Donahoe Racing (now icon suspension) adjustable 0-3" lift coilovers. ($1200 new)
Used, need to be rebuilt. Was quoted up to $400 at GTF to rebuild.
$250.

Bad pic, I know... Other pics shown "SN:001021" and "SN:001020". Those appear to be 2 1/2" But what about rebuilding them? I've read elsewhere that (I think, Icons) they were easy to rebuild on your own. Is that true?

If it's just oil and seals, it's a really good deal. That quickly changes if the shafts are pitted because if you don't replace them, they chew up the seals prematurely. I was quoted $40 a piece for shafts for my Sway-A-Ways when I looked into the total rebuild cost. Also you want to check the spherical bearings for play.

The condition of the above parts should give you a better idea of total rebuild cost. Generally, it's in the neighborhood of $120-$150 per shock if it's just oil and seals + labor, but where you live and the shops available to you might be different than down here in SoCal where the parts & shops are plentiful.
