I have this setup too waiting in the garage. I will also put some toytec in the back, my setup should keep a slight rake, but I'm okay with that.

5100's all around. 275 BFG KO2. Took me just under 4 hours to install. Thanks to all those that recommended the "no spring compressor" route. It was a lot easier!

Did not need spacers, seems to be about 3/4". In fact if I did I'd need to do a whole lot of trimming and i am not ready to do that on this puppy just yet. With the 285s I did need to push the fenders forward and I suspect I'd need a BMC like I did on my FJ if I wanted to run the spacers.... Just not ready to put the runner under the knife just yet. maybe next year lol.

Actually, I mis-spoke. It will not increase preload on the coil, it just moves the travel range down. But they both affect ride quality.

Nice to hear you didnt need spacers. I was thinking of putting 285/70/17s down the line but didnt want to have to shell out for rims at the same time. Now i know if i do end up going that route, i should be able to fit that size on those trail rims with just a lift.
