Curious, why did you go with that tire size vs 265 or 275?

I used Daystar spacers to lift mine. I'm not ready to tear out the XREAS just yet.

Was looking at 255s or 285s so wanted a 33ish tire. Almost changed my order from 255s to 285s worried the skinnys wouldn't be aggressive enough but with spacers they look great.
Im not big on lifting but looking at this setup and Im thinking about it. That looks really nice

diff drop: no, where it is now(CV's) and considering armor is on the sooner than later list I decided there was no need.
CV's: Its at the tint shop now so pics will be up later but the angle looks good to me.
Rub: for the 255's all Ive had to do is remove the front mud flaps, but first shakedown trip is this weekend.

Nice setup but stock rear springs?? You are doing yourself a disservice by keeping those. Trust me, I'm riding on cornfed spacers on stock coils and I hate it with even minimal weight in back...
wheels looks great against the black! If u do want to keep that Cali lean be sure to aim your headlights down

only reason i kept the stock coil in the back with a spacer is because i didnt want to have that factory rake. even the 1" coils ive read have been giving everyone at least 2 inches... im hoping the nose dips a little once it settles, if not im gonna even it out so its not hiked up in the front.

I need a 4runner soon.
I'm weird. Already have new wheels, tires, lift, and plastidip but my 4runner hasn't come in yet.
Not weird. I would do the same. It builds up excitement. Keep stocking up.

I must be weird too, because I had my lift bought 2 months before I got my new 4runner. I already had the tires and wheels picked out and they went on a couple weeks after I got the truck. Only took that long, because I had to wait for them to arrive at Discount Tire. :biggrin1:
