You're not at 4" up front on your 4Runner are you? 3" is absolute max unless you drop the frame down otherwise your CV angles are going to be insane and your shafts wont last long.

1.25" diff drop spacer for the cv, actually replaced the stupid spacer lift all together with the ICON extended travel coil over.

That being said, yes I am sitting 4 inches taller than it sat at stock in the front. And, The Tuff Country UCAs with the icon extended travel coils arent even maxed yet. I spoke with ICON to ask why I am getting so much more than expected without having the it fully extended. He indicated some 4 runners in the sr5 trim just sat lower at stock. I don't get it but it sits perfectly flat with 4 inch in the front and 2.25 in the rear. Christmas time I'll have the adjustable links, icon (eibach) 3 inch springs in rear with icon 1-3" struts and take the front up that last 3/4-1" it has left on it. ICON also indicated that diff drop spacers for cv were not needed with this coil over, but, yeah CV angles now with diff drop spacer look near stock so I think I'll leave em in.

4" puts your CV shafts and a real bad angle even with a drop. Same for your lower ball joints. They'll wear much faster than they should and those tuff country uppers won't last long either. Looks great but it'll have it's share of issues in time.

I haven’t seen these Nittos in 275/70-17 on their website. Where did you find these?!?! Looks great!

Word, yeah I hear ya, per a PM request heres a Snap of the CV at 4" lift (front) UCAs and Icon Extended Coilover.

Any added longevity with uniball joints on the UCAs?

That's very odd.... most CV's look worse than that with 2"-2.5" of lift. Yours look almost as if it was stock, yet you claim to have a 4" lift.

eh... its not a claim. I am sitting 4 inches taller than I was stock... Not really much more I can say except maybe my setup worked out well.

if additional measurements or pictures are needed from my factory ride height to now i can provide, but eh... is going to say the same thing yo.

i guess one thing to add is that when i had the coil spacer 4 inch lift with diff drop it was a piece of shit and the cvs would bind and buck at full droop. after the coil over no such issue with either bad looking angle or bind and buck.

I agree i'm at 3" and my CV's are sharper than that. Either way, angles look good. Uniballs IMO absolutely suck. Takes way to much to keep them quiet and they don't last. JBA arms are what i'll be swapping my arms out for in the near future.

Got the Kings installed the other day, 2" front and rear. I like em alot, now off to the mall. :boxer: :flipoff:

I know they're a couple dollars more, but have you looked at the Icon UCA with delta joints? I installed some in my 4Runner and they're re greaseable both in the joint and bushings. Super quiet and got my alignment back into specs.

Can you post pictures of your diff drop kit and part number?

You are totally spot on with the ball joints though! The angles are less than ideal and way off parallel  have a look lol

see those silver pucks..

Yeah what homie Shrub1 said lol

Part number. Tuff Country - S10105

I bought this TC 4 inch kit, installed the diff spacer and swapped all my struts to 5100's
After riding around like a tank, no articulation and mad vibrations I decided to take a chance and replace the entire spacer, strut and coil assembly with the icon ext travel. So I've mixed and matched setups which may be why I still have kick ass cv angles. Here is the link to the TC kit. Toyota 4Runner Lift Kits | Tuff Country EZ-Ride

And here is the pic from fromunda :zoom:
Also note the washers for the radiator support to clear the sway bar relo

@iwishiwasbiggee @shurb1

Here are pictures of my set up, I'm at 3 inches of lift and didn't use a diff drop kit. My ball joint boots look perfect and also my CV's. Also included a picture of the delta joints.

Very unique situation I am in as far as a part number.

I got lost in some of the minutia above.
Can you advise what exactly you are currently running to have achieved the CV angles you provided an image on a few posts above? Is it merely Icon ET CO's, diff drop, and TC UCA?
