sold my trd wheels with my old 285 bfgs

overall i like the look of the stance and more negative offset with the wider wheel...

Any rubbing with the new offset? Looks like its a -10mm offset? Thinking of doing the same, I'm also on 285's and at 2.5" lift. I've read that more negative offset (wider stance) is a higher likelihood or rubbing over stock wheels.

I have a similar set up and had to trim my fenders about a 1/4”. No rubbing of any kind, on and off road.

Yes. Mine sits at approximately 6'-9" at 38psi front and 34psi back on 33's and a Gobi Stealth (no rise). I had a project in San Jose last week and the downtown garage said 6'-8" so it's important to pay attention to those signs and remember your height.

I’m 76.5” to the top of my factory cross bars and my garage is 81” at the opening. I have a 3” Revtek lift with 285/70/17 tires at 34 PSI. I have a GOBI Stealth no rise on order and it’s going to be within .5” of my current setup.

Thanks for the info, that seems like an easy enough fix to not sweat it. I love my trail wheels, and they'd look great powdercoated but some of the aftermarket ones look great with that aggressive stance. Can't bring myself to do spacers with how I drive it (like it was meant to be driven!).

Have been worried about buying wheels, paying to have tires put on, and then finding out I'd have to do a Body mount chop or pay to have the old wheels put back on, if not lose money on (assuming they'd return wheels).

You've stuffed them at all angles of turning the steering wheel with no rubbing, I take it? Can you confirm the exact offset? Appreciate the help!

Yeah they rub...A LOT!

rubbing on the front fender/bumper area but nothing that a little dremel tool cant fix...

but yes, it rubs and its loud...literally everyone in a parking lot will snap their neck when you back out...

295/70/17 aligned with 1" caster. Had some rubbing on the front bumper. moved the liner forward and trimmed the bumper. Zero rubbing issues on the body mount.

I checked the invoice and the Black Rhino website and both say -12 offset. I’ve never rubbed, and actually just put my mud flaps back on and still no rubbing. If you plan on trimming the front of the fender and tucking in the liner and you should be good to go.

Wow I can't believe no rubbing on the body mount! I had to chop a lot as well as the pinch weld to clear mine. How is the ride quality with the caster set like that?

Honestly it rides great. I have the ToyTec ultimate kit with a 3/4" Cornfed spacer added to the back since it was a little low in the back for my taste. Gave me a total of 3" in all 4 corners. Wheels are 17x8 with 4.5 BS and 0 offset. I'm very happy with it.
