Looking to do something similar. Any rubbing/trimming?

Yes, slight. I removed the front mud flaps and plugged the holes with black nylon hole plugs, but I'm not 100% sure the mud flaps were the culprit. At the same time I trimmed the front bumper and pushed the fender liner forward. Since I did all of that at the same time I can't really say which one thing actually fixed it but the combination of all of them totally solved the rubbing.

LOOKY WHAT WE HAVE HERE! After 6 years of looking on this forum, hours and hours of research, selling one Runner, buying another. I will finally have something worthy of this thread!

Wife's Christmas Present from me this year!

Toytec/Bilstein 3"/2" Lift
SpriderTrax Spacers

Thank you, all of you. Lots of good dudes with good info here.
I plan on posting before an after pics. Install date is Jan 16th.

(not sure how to make photo stay upright)

I've looked into adding the body spacer to fit bigger tires. Do the 295/70s rub much? I like the look

You don't need the body lift even though it does look great. I'm lifted 3" and only had to trim the front lower inside lip of the front bumper skin. I also removed the front mud flaps but that was long before the lift, I just hate the look. I have the 295/70/17 Ridge Grapplers and have no issues.

Definitely have to trim a lot in the bottom corners of front wheel wells behind the tires, both the fender flares and the body mounts. But keep in mind it really depends on the specs of the wheels and tires you're running

Finally can post on this thread.

Anyone in the Los Angeles area that can recommend a good shop? I have the 4 bilstein shocks and cornfed spacers but not the tools to install. Also worried about messing up KDSS. Will be going to 1.75” in the front and 1” in the back.

Anyone else notice they're chasing their truck left to right on a crowned road? What have you done to try and solve this issue? On some roads around here it's almost uncomfortable to drive because the truck is all over the place.

This is my dream, I plan on doing exact thing this as soon as I find the time and spare change. What dobinsons spring part numbers did you use?

If you have a significant front lift without replacement upper arms it could be not enough positive castor in your front alignment. Aftermarket upper arms are built with geometry to correct for this issue.

Lifted 3" on stock arms with 1* caster, all I could get out of them. I do plan on going with JBA arms in the near future and I thought that may be the issue. Hopefully the new arms will help with this and I hear they improve ride quality in general.

Get some SPC's for around $400 on Amazon and it will track better than stock....mine is solid with no wander at 4 caster.

Wife's 4Runner...plan is to install front and rear airlockers, a magnuson supercharger, and lotus cv axles.

Not a fan of SPC at all. I don't like their ball joint design and see a lot of ball joint failure with low mileage. So far I'm sold on JBA Simple, 4+ degrees of caster, over the counter ball joint with more than enough flex for anything i'll ever do. Only thing I don't like about them is the red paint but that's an easy problem to solve.
