For any of you Icon owners. My Icon's have developed a very bad creaking sound on the up/down travel in the front. Hearing it on bumps, uneven roads, and when braking or accelerating. I'm not sure, but my guess is maybe its the new control arms. The shop may not have properly greased them.

Anyone else experience this and if so, what did you find to be the problem? If I pump the brakes and get the front suspension "bouncing", it sounds about like a squeaky bed in the "boom boom room" :biggrin1:

Just checking back.
Did you ever get the creak resolved?

Had them regreased and it still seems to be creaking. Not real sure what's going on. I was convinced that they didn't grease them while the UCA bolts were loose but they swore they were.

Freshly installed 2.5” / 2” (front/rear) lift on my 2012 Limited. XREAS was on its way out so it was completely removed. Eibach Pro Truck Shocks all around, Wheelers T1 (Eibach) front coil and OME 2895E rear coil. Installation took about 3.5 hours. Slapped some 285s on as well. No rubbing and not even close to BMC.

Bilstein 5100's in all 4's set to 1.75 in front and a 1" rear coil with 275/70/17 BFG's. Looks good for a mild lift. Black accents coming soon!

Hows the ride quality compared to the Stock SR5?

Recently lifted; OME 3" lift with medium duty front and "Light" heavy duty rear springs with D/S trim packer (885/898). Still waiting for springs to settle but initial measurements pavement to fender are as follows.

Before -

D/S Front - 34 3/8"
P/S Front - 34 7/16"
D/S Rear - 36 5/16"
P/S Rear - 36 1/2"

After(same tires) -

D/S Front - 37 1/4"
P/S Front - 37 1/2"
D/S Rear - 39 1/2"
P/S Rear - 39 15/16"
