Thats all all I have as far as the front Profile of the Wheel and Tires go. 4 1/2 inch Back Space. 4 Wheel Parts in Lynnwood WA, Mike the Manager helped establish the Back Spacing properly. I like how it turned out for sure. Here's a rear profile as well. It's interesting when you talk to les Schwab and the other tire stores the talk about offset vs. Back Spacing and the 4x4 Shops talk about Back Space which is American and makes way more sense to me. I had 5 different opinions form different tire stores and I am glad I went where I did. I needed to trim a little on the front, no big deal.

Just Getting Started, Custom 2 Tone Leather Black/Graphite, Nav. ARB 3" Lift, 9x17 Fuel Boost Wheels, BFG KM2's 285 70 17's, T-Rex, Gobi Stealth Roof Rack & Ladder w/4-6" Rigid LED Flood/Driving Lights and 2 Pia Back up Lights on the way. 2/1 :Lift

Blue thunder , where did you purchase the 2/1 lift from ??

Does the 2" front have a preload and topout spacer or just one or the other ?

I got the lift from Superior Off-Road in Gresham Or. Houston is the guy that does most of the suspension stuff... It was just spacers front & back.

You won most expensive tires on a 5th gen that i've seen so far @ $393 per/tire, those things are about the same as on my 335i Michelin PS2's RFT @ $425 each.

Got'r done....

Almost exactly 1 year from the day I bought the truck....Overland Warehouse 2.5" coil-overs, Light Racing UCAs, OW 2.5" rear shocks, combined with Icon 2" lift rear coils and Icon rear shock shin guards. I have about 1.5" of rake, which I like, and the truck rides awesome. I get about 1/8" of compression when I load all my work gear in the back, which would normally compress the stock coils about 1/2". Every place I go people come up to me and comment on my truck...(even though it needs a wash!)

Looks fabulous! I'm also happy to hear you really like the ride quality since I am in the process of installing almost the exact same suspension (I've opted for the SAW 1.5" rear coils).

At what height are your front OW coilovers set? I'm also eyeballing the Icon shin guards for the rear shocks .. any fitting problems with OW rear shocks?

No fit problems at all with the shin guards. I wanted to get the lower shock boots to protect them in the rear but Andries from OW told me that they are not recommended for areas with quite a bit of salt as it will cause more corrosion under the boots (Upstate NY has about 5 months of heavy salting).

I was gonna go with the SAWs as well but they were on back order for quite some time. The Icons are not too high IMO. The fronts are easy to adjust out by using the coil-over wrench, but you have to play around with them (adjust/drive to settle/measure and adjust again) to get everything where you want it and level the "Toyota lean." Basically one side is higher than the other to reduce the front lean, but the rear is still a little under a 1/2 inch off. So standing behind the truck you can still notice a little lean.

The ride is fantastic, just like I would expect it to be for a trail rated vehicle. Its very firm but not bone jarring. The front-end brake dive is gone with just a little dive under hard breaking. Larger bumps/ruts or anything taken on-road at normal speeds are smooth. Although its only a 2 inch lift in the rear and prob around 3ish in the front, it is very noticeable and looks great.

Thanks for you post, you set my mind at ease. I have BFG AT 275 70 17 with 17x8 crawl wheels and my lift is going on tomorrow morning.

I initially got this tire size when I wasn't going to lift. That changed almost immediately after the tires went on.( still wasn't 100% happy with the look, and have rubbing in front when turning) I was upset thinking they would look too small after the lift and regreted not going 285.

275 look perfect on your truck, I hope mine looks just as good.
