Looks like the other one linked above had the rocker panels removed, and yours still has them. I guess they could have reinstalled them, but either way yours looks a lot better, at least in my opinion.

Yeah hpower1 that is my old 4runner. If you look up my build under my user name it will give you all the specs you need. Or just look in my sig. I did have the rocker panels removed but gave them to the dealer when I traded it in towards a 2011 Tundra DC RW.

Got my 285 Terra Grapplers put on...love this setup! Ride is great with the Toytec spacers - most of my offroading is on the beach or medium mountain trails. I will eventually get new adjustable shocks and probably go 2.5" all around...but for now this is a nice, meaner look than stock!

Beautiful! What tint is that? Did you just match the rears or go darker all the way around?

I'd have to try and dig up the receipt to be sure, but there are two layers of film on every window but the windshield and sunroof. I have 3M Crystalline Film (UV heat blocking) as the base layer on all windows (including windshield and sunroof). Windshield and Sunroof have CR90 all other window have CR40. Then a second layer of tint is on top of both front and rear windows. I think it is 20 up front with 35 in the rear. It balances out to a little less than 20 all around.

I finally made the plunge and raised my front Bilsteins to 2.5 and added the rear 1.5 Daystar, whch only lifted one inch. I finished it off with the 285/70/17 Dura Tracs and only had to move the inner fender well and no trimming.

Trail Edition with OW 2.5 Suspension Kit

I spent a lot of time researching suspension for the 5th Gen 4Runner. My intent is to build my 4Runner into an expedition rig and I was hoping to keep the suspension lift height to a minimum while increasing the load-carrying ability of the suspension. I first considered the simplicity of OME suspension but while that could be ordered with various spring rates to match my intended load, it would give 3" of lift when unloaded which was an interference fit with my garage door.

After many exchanged emails with Andries Engelbrecht at Overland Warehouse, I finally decided to get their custom-valved Radflo coilover suspension kit with 2.5" shock absorber bodies. I further customized the rear suspension by not ordering the rear coils in the Overland Warehouse suspension kit and opted for Sway-Away rear coils intended for the FJ Cruiser. These rear coils are some 12% stiffer than the stock 4Runner rear coils and only add about 1-1/2" of lift. I also ordered some Light Racing UCA's so as to ensure I'd have ample caster angle adjustment.

The Overland Warehouse/Radflo/Sway-Away suspension finally arrived the end of May and I had my local Toyota dealer do the installation. Since this was the first 5th Gen 4Runner suspension upgrade that dealer tech had ever done, it took him about 7-1/2 hours. I'm very happy with both the suspension itself as well as the installation. As expected, my new 285 tires rub at full lock in the backs of the front wheel wells (even with the front mud flaps removed). I now know that the Light Racing UCA's need to be left set at the "0" setting (giving +2.0 degrees of caster) and at least another +2.0 degrees of caster needs to be dialed in on the OEM LCA caster eccentric cam bolts (yielding > +4.0 degrees of caster). This will move the front wheels forward and should eliminate any rubbing issues.

My sig line lists all my other upgrades .. I've just finished installing my BudBuilt skid plates this past weekend.

You don't have to be a member to get a sticker. Just be aware that the sticker says "Canada Toyota 4WD Association CT4WD.com" on it. Here's mine along with the Overland Warehouse 2.0 kit and 285/70/17 Duratracs.

Are you running wheel spacers? Your stance looks wide, like your tires are farther out than your fenders. Looks really good.
