Price on 2012 TE

I agreed on Friday to purchase a 2012 Trail with KDSS, all weather mats, and no nav for $37,500.

That includes all bs dealer fees, but no tax since I'm out of state and will have to pay that when I register it in state. I also was hung up on Shoreline Blue, so I have to pay about $1000 to transport it here since there were none close enough for a dealer trade to work out.

I realize I could have gotten a better price elsewhere, but wanting Shoreline Blue w/ KDSS limited me quite a bit. In the end I decided that I was willing to pay more to get exactly what I wanted, versus compromising and taking the cheaper price.

wow..the screen looks really small in the new 2012 models. I wonder why they did that.

Ditto. Maybe the TE's have always had a smaller screen than the LTD?

Nav cheaper?

Maybe they made the Nav smaller to accommodate for the cheaper price? I think i paid $2420 for Nav on my 2011 and now its only $995 :redbrick:

I just read up on it more and i guess there are also less speakers in the Nav package with the 2012(8 speakers) but i also have read alot of conflicting info. The 2011 appears to have 15 speakers according to toyota...

Can you get the 3rd seat on the Trail? I like that model but need the 3rd. If anyone sees one on the east coast in the Gray color let me know.
