looks good! I think black on the grille is a must, maybe even a satoshi grill mod? you could also color key the exterior edge of the grill instead of black...

There's a FJ at my local dealership that has that color with some nice black rims and a more aggressive tire. Granted its been sitting on that lot for quite a few months, but its still a sharp look.

Hell Yea do it! It looks awesome, just make sure you black out the crome ascents like everyone is suggesting in the photoshop images. I like it.

My vote would be to stick with a Yota color and get the FJ Cruiser Sandstorm color. The FJ has a new color for 2011 that is called Quicksand. It is slightly darker than the Sandstorm color.

Kraeken's 2nd attempt is definitely my favorite rendition so far. Looks like it'll be pretty cool.
I'm pretty sure some places offer the same paint that the military uses - it's called CARC. I've heard bad things about having to apply it (toxic, etc.) , and it'll be more expensive, but if you want that kind of look, why not get the real thing?

@OP: $1500 to paint an entire car including door sills and all is a remarkable deal!...I was quoted $3500 when I looked into getting my truck painted properly.
