Is that Toyota's Quicksand paint code? Excited to see the final product!
that quicksand will look great!
I'd definitely consider blacking out the grill and headlights, as it will be a good contrast to the quick-sand.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is this setting you back? I'm thinking about having mine repainted in a few years if it's not cost prohibitive..

Quality paint jobs run $4k+
a color change involves alot of work if you go to the extent of painting the engine bay, all the jams, the hood, think of all the things that need to be removed and re-installed for that to be done right. probably more like $5-7k
Yeah, I know a full color change would be expensive, I'd go back with the factory color (Nautical Blue Metallic). I was thinking for a repaint in the same color it'd be 2-4K but I haven't actually gotten an official quote anywhere.

I have NBM as well and have extensive clear coat cancer. I got a quote from maaco for their top of the line paint (still maaco though). They were going to charge me $1500. They wouldn't paint the jambs or anything like that. This quote covered all exposed parts of the paint. 5 year warranty.
The cars they had out front weren't perfect, but the guy seemed pretty honest with what I should expect for the quote he was giving me. Given that it's 11+ years old, southern CA exposure, gets dirty and lives in the driveway, I'm comfortable with a decent paint job. I don't want to pay $4k for a factory finish and have to worry about babying it.
