Yeah the wax paper is at the gauges and the center console. Makes a huge difference.

It is indeed the AllPro Tacoma Apex, I will need to modify the frame rails.

Oh man that is great to hear, that is what everyone says! My sister lives in Highlands ranch. I may go there or Golden. Part of me hates the Denver metro area and all the yuppies so I may be more outside of the city.

You should check out Gilpin county! It's west of Golden, and everything is super cheap since it's not Boulder county and they get a lot of money from the casinos, you also don't have to pass emissions or anything Though Gilpin is all in the mountains I think, so it'd be a little bit of a drive to get to the city.

Golden is great, thats where I'm at. I went to middle school and high school here also, and after my time in the Marine Corps, I moved back. Great town.

Although, I like Highlands Ranch also, I've spent a lot of time there, as thats where the lady friend is from.

So are you leaving Honda?? I hope not...I was looking forward to using your employees discount to attempt to buy the all new Acura NSX. It truly surprised me they brought their whole operation over from Japan...to build the NSX here in Marysville. So whats your employee discount...50...70%?? :hiding:

I will definitely remember that, I need to locate Work out there before I can start getting picky on where I will live. The emissions part would be very helpful though.. Boulder county is definitely off the list, I was originally planning to stick with Jefferson or Douglas County.

AllPro has improved a lot over the last decade, I remember they used to have a so-so reputation. If I had not bought the Apex, I would have went with the Tacoma Lo-Pro tube bumper.

I knew Ohio sucked going into it, this was never intended to be a long term excursion. I just didn't realize I would despise it as much as I have come to.

Unfortunately Honda is not in Colorado at all, I will miss the work. But maybe if got some special NSX treatment I would reconsider leaving..

I ended up selling it when we got back from our hike. I really liked the bumper, but at the time couldn't bring myself to cutting off some of the frame to mount it. Looking back it wouldn't have been that big of a deal.

I did pick up a new 4xInnovations off Craigslist list for $400 though.

I really like the look of the amber lights you used, and the LED in the dome light is a nice touch. I really like that in modern cars... Does your redline on the tach still show clearly? Also, do you like the white LEDS in the climate control? Seems harsh.

Unfortunately I am stuck with green due to my Eclipse AVN unit being green. I am nowhere near ballsy enough to open that thing up and attempt to change the colors in the LEDs. I should upgrade, but the units with the features (and reviews) that I desire are far outside of what I consider an acceptable price range.

Thanks for the compliments! The tach redline is still red, which is not much of a contrast between the amber.. but not like I ever get it up that high anyway. The white Climate controls were done because anywhere that I wanted to retain the color of the controls (the red/blue dial for example), I used white lights. This was done at the climate controls, trans shifter, and FMU display.

My last truck had white everything, that was a bit much. But having white just on those items is quite bearable and breaks up the amber nicely.

I like the lighting upgrades. I'd like to go all-white on the dash lights, as it looks great in my wife's TSX.

Do you know if the lens on the side marker light can be separated from the housing? (Think fun lighting mods.)
