Making it look easy! And also showing some real 5th gen capability :thumb3:
And to think, I avoided all of the trees this time!

I was getting hung up on the large boulder on the driver's side. That spot is a tight S bend with little room to maneuver. There's a tree, which I backed into, the large boulder on the drivers, rock wall on the passenger and that large rock right in the middle. Ended up dropping the slider down on the large boulder and kind of pivoting around. That's the reason drivers front was off the ground in the one video.great video!! hard to see from the angle in the second one, but what was holding you up?? Really looked like you had it on the 3rd try.
So your saying some guys ran through there and tore it up being stupid or when they rebuilt it, they didn't think it out right so it got tore up due to guys being stupid,in your oppion?

Here you go. If the upper link was offset like the lower, it would gain more room and should eliminate the contact on the tank.
For reference, my upper link is about 12-1/2" eye to eye.
Feel free to make me a set while you're at it. [emoji23]

So, I’m getting ready to gather up parts for my front and rear LT. Game plan is to build my own links, the uppers double offset. I’ll let you know how that Turns out.
If you don’t mind me asking, how do you like the Dobbins rear springs? Do you like the 400lb rate, or would you go heavier? We have very similar setups. I’ve got Icon Overland 3” and they were great, until I added a lot more weight. This hunting season, I was pretty loaded down and it really showed. I talked to MT about their HD springs and they actually told me that they’re about the same weight as what I have and gave me the name of a local spring manufacturer to look at a custom set. Not sure which way I’m going to go.
I think the Dobinsons are the heaviest rate you can get and honestly, I wish I could get even heavier. I think Dobbinsons may be doing that soon, based on a comment from Mike. They flex awesome. Definitely glad I went that route. Forgot that sweet dimension, but I'll pay for, shipping on those double offset links:rockon:
Next year, Rubicon, let's do it!

Another thing I have discovered is it seems that the upper link hits the tank on full droop out of the entire axle, but if only the drivers side drops and passenger side is fully compressed, there is no contact. Geometry is a MFer.

Unfortunately, no. The one person I had committed had issues with 4WD so it was a no go. Need anT4R 5th Gen run next season.I may email Mike then as well. I’d be curious to see what the current super heavy progressive would be like with the rate increased on just the soft end, if possible. It ramps up quick, I guess I just don’t like how soft the top end is. Did you make it to the rubicon?

I’m all ears on that too. I tow a trailer sometimes and fully loaded, with that hooked up, the icons just aren’t cutting it. I know that there is no one shot, one kill, for everything I want to do. But, i think I can get close. I’d like to keep from running airbags and just have the best setup that I can.

KILL!!As far as I am concerned, one shot one kill is normal. Oh wait, that's just the jar head in me. :sniper:
I was gonna say . . .Nothing wrong with air bags!

Non adjustable? If you swap to a double cardan, you'll need the adjustability to rotate the pinion up. What's shot, Johnny's or the other end bushing. Should be able to source new ones.Just found these on a search, since my stock bushings are shot, and possible will have the same problem going with a larger diameter shaft.
