Good choice upgrading the spindles. If they break out on a trail you could easily be out thousands.

With regards to the TL I heard mentioned, I hope it lasts a long time as well. I've got an 08 with 72K on it right now.

It's definitely worth it. I sat on it for a while trying to figure out the best way to install it. Having it switched with the lift gate was the way to go. Aside from the diffused red glow for camping, I think it would also help keep the bugs away. One of my favorite mods.

So far my son is enjoying the TL. It's an 03 Type S and we're hoping to get some good years out of. He's never going to want to go back to a 4cyl again.

Amazing I know...I actually just finished up one of my main projects. Spindles with the new Total Chaos gussets are finally all back together. They go back together nicely with new shiny parts and a 20 ton press.

I'm down to my LCA bushings (which I'm hesitating on because of the whiteline bushings I have sitting in my freezer and the problem Alex had with them) and the SC which I'm still undecided on whether to get a larger fuel pump and bigger fuel injectors ($500 plus - ouch) with the 2.2 pulley.

What was the problem with the LCA and whiteline bushings? I installed the whitelines about a year ago and aside from a lot of unbolting don't recall running into any issues.

Thanks! It feels good to get that project finished finally.

Alex installed whitelines and after about four or five months he said they started squeaking on him. I'm more than likely going to install them anyway but I keep going back and forth on them or OEM.

No worries, I've got you covered on the old ones once I replace everything.

I think there's an alternative to the W 190. IIRC someone on here mentioned how loud the W190 is compared to this other pump. I need to do some research. It might be in the SC thread.

I recommend denso Mitsubishi Evo 8-9 fuel pump. Flows like a 190lph with oem denso reliability and is quiet. I got one installed now.

Not sure if these will fit your fuel rails but the 3RZ & 5VZ has the same stock flow rate & fuel pump.

Not sure there is much difference between 318 & 325CC's.
