Sanity check before I buy a new compressor

Guess I'm a bit late to this thread, but I've been a long time ViAir guy now. I had an old 550C in my truck for 9 years before it finally died, and it lived a hard life! It was mounted in the bed of my truck, open to the elements (I always used a tonneau cover, but water dripped onto the compressor all the time), and filled my 35's from 12psi to around 25-30psi after every trail run, along with other friend's tires! It usually ran about 30 minutes non-stop and never gave me an issue until the last few months I had it. It also ran my ARB locker, filled a permanent-mounted 5 gal. air tank and ran my air horn!

Bought the latest 450C-IG in 2013 and haven't been happier! The thing is super quiet (compared to the old one!) and uses less current but still fills the tires as fast as it used to-maybe even faster!

Just an FYI, it seems Home Depot now sells ViAir compressors! I don't think they have 'em in stock at the stores, but you can order them online.

I have the 450; great unit. Also, Viair has OUTSTANDING customer service. The air gun portion wasn't working correctly (of course after I get done wheeling and need to air back up) air wouldn't shut off when you released the handle but it still filled the tires..whew. Called up Viair the next day and they shipped a replacement Handle out same day at no charge! Had the unit since last May.
