Seat Upholstery Review - Ebay US Auto Seat Cover

Just replaced my driver seat upholstery with new leather from Ebay vendor US Auto Seat Cover out of Houston and thought I'd give my feedback. Overall I'm very happy with the results. I got a quote from a local upholstery shop for $750 for just the driver seat, so decided to try this instead. For about 1/3 the price I think it came out well. I was worried it might not match the passenger seat (which is still in good condition) but I think it came out very close. The new covers are not quite as shiny as the factory covers, but the color is pretty much spot on. I also purchased new seat foam from Amazon for the lower cushion, but ended up not using it because I could see that the bolsters were smaller than the factory foam. Anyway, here's a few pics of the final results.

Thanks - they're real leather on the seating surfaces and vinyl/synthetic leather on the back and sides. I believe the factory seats were the same way. Install wasn't too bad, but it definitely helped to have an extra set of hands for connecting the plastic clipping mechanism at the bottom part of the seat back. There are several install videos on YouTube but I found this guy's to be the most helpful. I didn't buy his seat covers because they were all synthetic leather, but his videos had several helpful hints on getting a good fit.

Looks awesome! I might need to look into this in the future.

They will gain shine with use. In my other car, all the touch points of leather surfaces are shinier than the parts that don't get touched.

It looks really good bro. I redid just the bottom of mine with a cover I bought off eBay but it was "microfiber leather" which means it was fake. The way that cover was supposed to attach to the frame was different plus it didn't have the seat heater in it either so I wound up cutting the sides off the original seat cover and plug the new one over top of it. It looks OKAY but it doesn't tuck tight in the pleats as it should. Think I'm gonna order a new seat pad and I believe I will go with the covers you bought. How much was it? Thanks!

I paid about $105 for the bottom cover and about $165 for the top. I didn't have any seat heaters, so not sure if that would be an issue with these. The bottom foam cushion that I bought off Amazon was noticeably smaller than the factory one, so I went back with the factory cushion. I didn't try the new cover on the new foam cushion, so I can't say for sure if the size difference would have created wrinkles but I think it would have.

I replaced the drivers seat cover on my '03 a few months ago and very pleased as well.
