Should I make this drive? (CO locals)

Sorry for another CO thread but I'm trying to confirm our plans for tomorrow and could use some local insight. We are planning to drive from Denver to Winter Park tomorrow at 10 AM (yes including Berthoud Pass). I'm not sure if these weather advisories are just standard or if I should really reconsider. The rental is an Explorer man van with 4WD.

COTRIP.ORG tends to have the best info online. I think the local news makes every snowfall sound like a monster blizzard and prefer to check out what really happens over night and judge from there. Berthoud can be a b!tch and don't discount that fact. also call the rental spot by Winter Park and see what they have to say. If it's bad tomorrow I would think they'd refund your payment.

The news tends to overblow every storm, however with all the non local traffic your likely to run into with x-mas and all.. Could be a pain. Ultimatly, if your fairly worried about it, you probably shouldnt go; however you then miss some great skiing.

Ugh, what a rough couple of days. Within an hour or so of posting this I got really sick and ended up with some kind of stomach flu. I'm just now starting to feel better. So, we ended up missing out anyway.
