Where in SoCal? OC, SD, LA?

I'm down for trails for sure. Busy for the next two weekends but game on after that.

it WAS a cool ride! i felt it was going to be unreliable in the long run. i traded it in with 47k. driving the my new trail edition is just a way different driving experience, thing is a slug compared to the R32. before the R32 i owned a 2005 toyota tacoma double cab long bed but it wasnt 4x4 so i knew what i was getting myself into with this 4runner, love everything about it but i do miss my heated seats from the VW.

If you're a beginner at the whole off roading thing, there are a couple good options here in SoCal. Gorman is about 45 minutes north of LA and there are many different trail and obstacle choices for anyone between a beginner up to experienced. The Big Bear area also offers quite a bit as well. One trail that interests me alot is the Pine Flat trail from Green Valley to Big Bear lake. It's an 26 mile fire road that winds thru the mountains and there are off shoots for the more adventurous types. Our local deserts also offer many options as well. Check out The Mohave Trail. This is for serious off roaders only and it is recommended that you travel in a group of 2 to 3 vehicles minumum. Anso Borrego out passed Palms Springs also has alot to offer. PM me if you wanna check out either Gorman or Big Bear. We can hook up one weekend. Right now the only thing my SR5 has going for it is that it's 4WD so I can't get too crazy.
