which superflex coils did you use?

i noticed they dont have 3rd gen coils listed ion their website, only FJ & 03-09 4th and 90-92 2nd gens. If your using either of these is do the coils still yield a 2" lift? THanks

I used these springs:
ToyTec Superflex Rear Coils (96-02 4Runner) - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits

They are for the third gen's. :hatsoff:

love the runner bruddah...i was wondering....i have 2.5" spacers all around but my runners dosent look like yours...yours look higer..do u have any idea Y....anyways i dont have diff drop to...is that bad???

SlowT4r new set-up looks great! How's the ride quality compared to the old set-up you had. Offroad I know its much more capable but what about on road.

Hey guys. I just wanted to give a little update and say I'm sorry to all the guys who have been PM'ing me about the sliders. I haven't logged into this account in a couple months. My dad has been really sick and I've been kind of like his assistant the last couple months trying to help him get better. Any who just wanted to see what was going on on t4r, I missed this forum (no homo).

The pic you have quoted is with my new suspension set-up using superflex rear coils. So it will sit a little higher than a 4runner with a 2.5 inch spacer lift. As for diff drops, 50% will say you need it the half will say you don't. I'd recommend doing some research and deciding for yourself. Good luck with the build mang!

It's actually kind of funny. People will call me a liar but on road the new setup is only a little smoother than the spacer set-up. Offroad it's def a improvement over the spacers. More articulation and the such. Also when hauling ass on dirt roads and things of that nature the shocks and springs work so well soaking up bumps. I love the new set-up and highly recommend it.

Finally got a new alarm installed. When I bought my 4runner a few years ago there was a crappy cheap-o alarm installed. It had been freaking out lately, arming and un-arming without me even pushing a button.
So for Father's Day my wife bought me my new Viper alarm. It's a nice basic, quality alarm. I'm pumped to finally have a great alarm.

well, i was really sad i couldn't make it on a bald mt ohv run on saturday so i went to jose basin on friday. it was cool, truck did great and i was happy to get out and stretch its legs imp:

It's actually about a hour and a half from my hometown of fresno. It's the go to trail for most 4x4's around here because you can make it difficult or take it easy and there are 3 routes to the summit that kind of intertwine. Lots of fun!

Oh cool. Didn't know you were familiar with the area. The trail head is only about 20 minutes from shaver lake. Let me know if you come up and I'll join you on the trail if your interested :thumbsup:

Here's some good news, not really about me or my truck but good news none the less. My brother in law has been wheeling with me for the last couple years and has a 1985 K5 Blazer. Cool truck but it was time for something new, something with a/c and reliable.
Guess what, today he bought a 4Runner, 2006 4x4 sr5 with the center diff lock and down hill assist. Pretty awesome and I know he's pumped. I'm sure eventually he will make an account on t4r.org....
