Yes indeed a catch up is well overdue!

When you say your "issues where pretty much gone" could you elaborate further? The problem I have found is pulling the spout out (covered in gas) and then flipping it over and screwing it in without getting gas on your hands. I can wear gloves but then they're covered in gas. I thought about a funnel, but where does the funnel go once used.

The set-up works for my needs but if I had to do this everyday, forget about it. I would be high and going :clock:

I just got the new spouts..and stopped using the useless f'ing gas spilling, CARB spouts...I'd love to find the asshat who passed that idiotic legislation and ram that that CARB spout up his butt!! There's more safety issues, gas wasted and spilled because of those useless things, then all the other spouts in the past combined

What's wrong with making a bladder for temporary use underneath?

Last night (trying to sleep) I was in full force about the shower set-up. It must be the feeling the 4 runner gives of GETTING AWAY and spring and its warmer weather:biggrin2:. Anyways here are my thoughts on the bladder option.

~ Bladder Option ~ (alternative to a tank)

The only obstacle I see with this would be the pump and regulating pressure. Im thinking mountains at this point. The gain in elevation could cause a leak or rupture. Temperature differences as far as insulating properties of the bladder material. Long term durability. Love the idea of its portability.

Haha amen brother, funny stuff!

I use those spouts with the 5 gal diesel tanks I have for the Massey. I think it is a much better option but still not the solution to gas-free hands so to speak

Sounds like a space toilet to me. Just hanging your rear end at the truck's rear end!. (and it only works for number 1).

Modify one of those bumper cupholders with an attached drain hose as a receptacle....just be very, very careful. Reminds me of the old MASH episode (use tree #2 for #1, tree #3 for #2....)
