Steeing wheel feedback

I know this is common with Tacomas, my TRD did it, every other TRD I drove did it to some degree. Just wondering what everyone else experience is. Under load how much vibration do you feel through the steering wheel?

I can't really say that I feel any. Not sure what you mean by "under load" tho. If its pouring the coal to it or high speed or carrying heavy stuff then I still don't feel anything in the way of steering vibe that would get my attention. Ive got some big a$$ duratracs on my lifted SR5 and can easily cruise at 80 with no vibe and no vibe getting to that speed either. Smooth as silk all the way. Very pleased with this rig under all conditions and speeds.
EDIT: don't ever recall this issue with any of my Tacoma's either.

its more of a resonance then a vibration. I drove 6 TRD's in a row and they all did it to some degree. Its pretty well documented in threads on tacoma world

I had older Tacomas. I think the newer ones maybe had more issues. Maybe you'll get some more feedback, but I can definitely say I (thankfully) do not have this. Have you tried a search? Amazing what can be found. This forum is fully loaded with all kinds of info and alot of it has passed into the archives but a quick search can bring it up.

I do notice a little bit. Like you said, a slight vibration/resonance. However, when I test drove an SR5 Premium I didn't notice any but I did in the Limited. I always just assumed it was related to the full-time 4WD somehow.

I've noticed this too, mainly under moderate acceleration. Smooth while at speed and deceleration. I also assume it is because of the full time 4wd, as my '08 didn't do it at all. I'm going to have it checked out at the 10K service anyway.

As soon as I jumped on the freeway the first time I drove my LE, above 3k rpms I believe, everything starts vibrating but mainly in the steering wheel. I was surprised, I assumed it'd be silky smooth, after all the make Lexus and there's nothing more posh than that. Oh well
