Stillen exhaust from Yota Tech thread

So, i know a few people have said it but will it fit an 02? I talked with Dan at stillen who said they have not tested it on a 02 so they don't know. I'm ready to pull the trigger if it fits

if you have a 02 with dual cats and a 3.4 litter v6 it will fit. end of story.

Does your 99 have dual cats? Cuz it seems to fit yours just fine...right?

the primary cat is tucked between the firewall and block so you wont see it very well the secondary is right befor the muffler.
 
got cats!

anyone do a 98 yet? called stillen and they tried to help, no luck.
I believe the cat setups are the same anyway...one behind engine in front of firewall, one before muffler...

I would say for $100 it's worth it to just pull the trigger and find out, worst case scenario, you have to take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld on an extension piece.
 
You are right, $150 with ship...
I appreciate all the input from you guys...
I am going to remove the old after I find another compatible Magnaflow and buy some stainless, make my buddy show "how" to weld
get whatever needs to be bent at the shop

Heres an update on my progress! I began grinding off the heads of the two bolts holding the muffler to the cat. The first punched right out after removing the head, the second one was so rusted through I had to break out the air chisel, so far I'm three hours in and I finally got all of the bolts out... now I just have to wait for my dad to bring back my sawzall:bash:. I am planning on uploading the much requested sound clip tonight:D

Ya, If I remember right the carfax said it came from colorado, lots of salt and snow, the whole underside pretty much looks like that:bash:

Oh and I finished the install:cheers: I haven't had a chance to drive it more than 30 seconds yet, I will update with sound clips as soon as I can. Another side note, it took me around 4 hours to remove the factory stuff, and about 10 minutes to put in the new stuff, I hate rust:cursin:
