Stock Air Intake Rubber Replacement

Im having a hard time finding replacement air hoses (mine are cracking)...

The upper flex section where it attaches to the throttle body, and the lower section that attaches to the filter box.

Does anyone have the part number for these, or another place I can find them cheaper than the dealer?

Sorry if this was posted already, I didnt know exactly what part name to search for.

Usually junk yards, ebay or dealer is your best bet. You might as well add this and then do the deck plate if you want a little more power, sound, throttle response.

Seems the Airaid tube is a good option... thanks guys. Ive been trying to stay as 'stock' as possible. Im a firm believer in Toyota's engineering. So this eliminates that air resonator box thing that sits over the spark plugs? Doesnt remove the MAF though, correct?

It replaces the plastic tubing and that box I believe. I agree with you on toyota knows best but a lot of the stock intake was made also do quiet the motor, not just for function. That being said after my cold air intake install at WOT and letting go of gas real fast the truck can stall out after intake install. I will be switching to the airade tube and deck plate some time in near future.

Is it THAT loud? Ive had a K&N intake system on my Jeep Wrangler, it sounded good at higher RPM's, but I dont remember it being noisy. If its not too bad, Ill just get the MIT.

It's hardly noticeable, I really only hear a difference around 3000 rpms. Stated previously it will increase throttle response.

The rubber section from the box to the intake has failed on mine. I've wanted to keep the factory box and not go to the cold air since I don't believe they make a real difference, but can't find a replacment for mine. At this point i have silicone on the hole/tear to prevent sucking in dust.

You punch in your VIN or year and model and then you will be able to find the parts you need while looking at drawings that show the assembly of interest to you. I bought replacement intake parts from them but I'm at work and don't have access to my files to get you the p/n's.

You wont regret it.
It is slightly louder but really only WOT and its just "throaty" sounds good.
Gives WAY better throttle response and if you also go ahead and replace your muffler with a good free flowing one you should probably get an extra 1-2MPG on the highway.

I hope you got the DRY filter version.

Install was quick and easy. Had it installed in about 20 minutes. I did pull the EFI fuse while I was installing it. I love it so far, and I dont notice a difference in noise unless I punch it past 3500 RPM, then it sounds throaty. (rare)

I left the stock air filter in place (paper, non-oiled). I wont be using an oiled filter any time soon, after doing a heavy cleaning on the MAF sensor. Thanks guys.

Get yourself a highflow dry washable filter and look up the deck plate mod. It finishes out the intake perfect.
