T4RNightHawk's Build Thread

Heads up, if you don't know anything about the mine shaft you are entering it can be VERY dangerous, lack H2O and other gasses are not good for you.

This has be a public safety announcement, now back to your regular programing...Nice T4R, BTW.

Haha yea figured it wasn't very safe which is why I didn't go far.

I know I've somewhat neglected this thread. Haven't been doing much. This college thing is no joke. I did make it down to GA and hit Beasley Knob over fall break but I forgot the camera so I only have shitty phone pics. Did get to see how the kings worked on the access trails though .

Made it out to Windrock for two days. First day we hit 11 then 50 to panther rock. Unfortunately my camera batter was dead so all the pics are crappy iPhone pics. My Xterra buddy lost a UCA bolt on the way back on G1 and it almost punched through his cat. We went down the mountain hit an Ace hardware and had him back in working order by 7:30. Then his car wouldn't go into 2WD so he waited till morning and got it to engage and went home. I met up with ryanking61 and hit 30 and 11 again. Hoping I can find time next semester to make it up there again before summer.

Oh you have to. I only have the fronts and its like butter offroad. I did 30 mph going back up G1 after getting the bolt from Ace. That's even with my stiff ass OME rear setup. 10/10 would recommend getting the compression adjuster though. Resis alone isn't worth it if you aren't bombing woops in the desert.

Damn.....I was hoping you wouldn't say that. Haha

Looks like that's what I'll be getting.....did you go with the 650 or 700? Any regrets?

Also..... how are you liking the CBI front bumper? I'm looking into that bumper if DO won't do a BL for theirs.

I love the CBI. I got mine pre BL so I had to modify it myself. From what I've heard the demello's are very nice but not worth the price. Also I hit my bumper alot so 3/16" is better for me.

Im a dork...
I did mean bad 'AIR' in the caves/mines...doh!...O2 not H2O.
Right...look out for that bad water...your probably thinking whats up with this kook.
Looks like your having fun! Nice pics.

My buddy is a reseller for them. Reach out to spartan 4x4 on Instagram (website is going up later this month). He'll take care of you.

Had a good run up at AOP. The Corbeaus rode like a dream and the 35's helped a lot minus when I bent my LCA mounts and they started scrubbing like crazy. Also ended up taking a fender off on a tree. All in all a good trip.

Just found this because this truck just came up for sale on my local Craigslist. I'm ashamed to say I didn't know this build. What a great journey man. Love the truck. Wish I could give her a home. Good luck with finding a new owner though.
