Tacoma vs 4Runner width

Am I correct in my reading that the 90-95 4Runners are exactly the same width as the pick ups during the same years (66.5 inches)?

I'm trying to determine if I can modify a soft top from the truck to go over my chop top. I can get one custom made, but I was just thinking....

They are the same width. The IFS is identical between the two. Pretty much mechanically the same.

But its not a tacoma, its just a pickup. The Tacoma didnt come out till 95.5, and they are 60"

You could also try to find a fiberglass cap for that year pickup (or any mini truck really) and cut it to fit, maybe? I bobbed my cap when I first bobbed the bed, was pretty easy to do and they are usually pretty cheap..
