Toyo MT's have been installed on said Lobster Of Rocks
Also gonna talk a little about the sliders. I wanted to do some custom ones and Rock Toy Industries wanted to make something different from the norm. Obviously there are only so many ways that you can do sliders but we didn't want to make them look like any other slider. Enter the RTI Reverse Hybrid's(AKA "Dirbyh's"). Most hybrid sliders use square tube for the main portion and round tube for the kickers. We did the opposite. Round main tube and square kicker set at a 45 degree angle. Since you can't really bend square tune for the kickout, we did that in round DOM. The square tube at 45 degrees acts similar to a boat side and will allow for a smooth flat surface for rocks to slide on.
Here is the beginning of them
We held them as tight to the body as possible for the most clearance.
Still needs to be gusseted which is why i haven't painted the frame plates yet. I have bashed them and there wasn't any movement so i don't know how necessary the gussets will be but we are going to add them anyway

yeah i want a full review of the toyo's i was really on the fence between the duras and toyo's , since many people weren't running the toyos i went with the duras as there was a known consensus on what you'd get for your money.

oh man! Izzard you should read my posts, Ive been running toyos for about a year and a half now, and raving about them on every tire thread I saw. They are waaaay better than any tire Ive put on my 4runner in the last 10 years...
when they are aired down 00spork says they ride like a caddy on bumpy rocky roads and I agree. They have a tough sidewall and weight a bit more than other tires of similar size, and are worth every Penny!

Haha you got me. But it all depends on how much i procrastinate. It could look like this for a while.

I pulled the rear diff tonight so i could swap it with a complete diff with a Lockright i picked up for $100. After it was all apart, i realized that the new diff was a older 4 cylinder diff and not the V6 that comes in the 3rd gen. While it was apart, i discovered that the rear wheel bearings that i did less than 20k miles ago are effed :redbrick:. I know they were done properly so i think i may have some bent axle shafts.
Looking like its time for a rear E-locker and the FROR full float setup. I'd like to apologize in advance to my bank account.
