Timing Belt and Water Pump Change

I got down to setting #1 cylinder at TDC and found that the LH camshaft is not aligned with the timing mark, but the RH camshaft is. I turned the crankshaft pulley 1 revolution to be sure also. How can I correct this? This is my first time doing this and any help is appreciated.

Undo the belt, put it back on and try again. Pretty simple. If you were asking "how can I do this without taking the belt back off, there's not much you can do.

Its a real bugger putting the belt on and getting the proper belt rib count between the drivers side cam sprocket and the crank sprocket. It took me 20min or prying, stretching, and bumping the crank back and fourth a few degrees to get the belt on in the place it needed to be to have the cams on the dots with the tensioner released.

Here is my technique. Using the installation marks on the belt and two black binder clips, you will get it right every time, if the crank sprocket is also aligned correctly. Even if the cams rotate from TDC, if the mark on the belt and the pulley mark remain aligned, you're good. Once I tried this, it went on correct first try. (you can't see the mark on the pulley--it's under the clip.)

You can even do the same thing with an existing belt, as long as you put marks on the belt before you take it off. If your new belt has no marks, then mark your old one and then use that one to mark the new one.
