Trail Silver bumper cover...opinions needed

Well, my '14 Trail got smashed in an accident on Sunday and I've already bought its replacement....another '14 Trail!! My 7th 4Runner. This one is in Barcelona Red.

I've seen a lot of you plasti dip black the silver bumper cover that comes on the Trails and it looks amazing. The body shop I'm using said that they'd paint that portion of the bumper for me on my new Trail for free for being a frequent customer (hahahah..none are my fault). The question I have is what color would look the best on my Barcelona red? Color matched? Flat black? Gloss black? Other ideas?

Mooney: LOVE that carbon fiber! Where d'ja get dat? Did you just epoxy / kevlar glass the bumper yourself, or is it after-market?

OP : I like flat black, but not if you don't want to increase the big black open-maw effect (there is already a lot of black grill)
A warm blue/grey colour goes real nice with that red, but may not work if you don't have more of that colour elsewhere on the car. Maybe plastidip your wheels in the same colour?

At the end of the day, I think body colour will be the most successful.
ps., I have. '15 in Barcelona Red, and I haven't made that decision yet myself. Please post pics when you have done it!

I have flat black wheels already with the pro comps so I like the idea of adding more black to the rig. I think I figured it out...color match it...then if I don't like it I can always plasti dip over it. Now I need to cross my fingers that they can match paint well.

It's probably a vinyl wrap like 3m di-noc.

I'm painting mine with rusto spray bed liner. Worked great on my 4th gen.

I know what you mean here; it would match the plastic color of the trd Pro, right? I like that idea too.

Oracle Wrap . . . Wanted something that would hold up better than paint as its on both front and rear bumper. This material won't scratch with dull objects, relatively inexpensive, however the stronger stuff is textured.

You might check any window tinting places in your area.
