This has been one of the most frustrating processes ever with this truck..... Am I looking for a D light? am I looking for a AT light....I don't even get with the d light even means? Does it mean regardless if the trucks in park it's going to show a d?
I wish someone could help me with this I'm sitting in my truck about to lose my mind! Lol
.) Jump pins 4 and 13 on the OBD II plug
.) Start your truck, and watch the dash lights flash
.) Shift to Neutral for 2 seconds
.) For 6 seconds (approx 6-8 shifts) go back and forth Drive, to Neutral with a very short pause
.) During #4, watch your gear indicator on the dash (D, N, D, N, D, N) when you shift back into N after the 6 seconds are up the light will switch to D for 2 seconds and go back off
.) If the D light doesn't come on while in Neutral after 6 seconds of shifting shut off the truck and start back at #2, it can take a couple tries
.) Put the truck back in Park, the indicator will be blank
.) Pull the wire from the OBDII plug, let truck warm up for about 15m
.) When hot enough, the D light will come back on solid, indicating you are at the proper temp to check the fluid level (yes even in Park)
.) If the D light is flashing, your truck is too hot, let it sit for a while and come back later
