TRD Exhaust - Available in 2020 M.Y.

I have a brand new TRD system being delivered to me tomorrow (and 5 more next week) if anyone needs one? It was for a local customer of mine that cancelled his order and went with the Gibson. This is brand new, never opened, but I can open it if you guys want some more pics too?

If anyone is kinda close to PA shipping shouldn't be too bad. Call or text me at 717-319-2100 and I'll try to help.
 
I wouldn't use an impact but that's just me. I didn't know the torque and read 20, so I used old school torque and guessed by hand. Sealed just fine.
 
Wow, Jason B -- awesome. It's almost like you have a fake event happen in order to get a) your name, b) Gibson, and c) your website in another post for a TRD Exhaust, while belittling it. And wait, I'm replying, so that helps you even more.

What an honest vendor you are. We are SO lucky to have you.

As for torque, I didn’t lift the truck so using my big ass torque wrench wouldn’t work. I just used an impact driver with socket adapter and tightened the hell out of it. No leaks. No creaks. Don’t plan on taking it off. Bolts will seize with rust and salt anyway... maybe it has something to do with gasket sealing properly, but I have no issues. Just make sure you tighten gradually. One side, the other, back again, etc to get uniform compression on the gasket.

Copy that. I managed to get the installation document from Toyota, torque specs 32 lb-ft Front & 35 lb-ft rear.

What's your cost? Toyota selling them for 650

If not doing it under a hoist, would you have to cut the existing rear to clear the cross member?

Did mine on Jack stands and a floor jack. Mine came with the chrome tip. I could have jacked up higher but removing the tip it came right out

Thanks. I won't get to it till next week due to lack of time, but even if I could, 104+ degree is really not helping.

I helped my nephew, who is on par with Raymond Babbit most days, remove his stock exhaust without cutting it. Just used jack stands and some creative twisting and turning. It WILL come out without cutting, regardless of what some people seem to claim in other threads.

That being said. Make sure to use the frame for the stand locations, so the springs can decompress. One can also jack up the passenger side axle to gain more clearance and can undo the driver side shock for even more. Like when installing new coils. Just my .02
 
Screw it. Cut it off. You’re never going to put it back on. I used to save everything... for what!? Lol. Usually ended up putting all the parts in the trunk when I traded the car back in. Dealership couldn’t have cared less. I’m done saving car parts.

I agree with saving parts. Was gonna sell stock muffler and pipe but saw it online cheap. Not worth my time to ship.
However cutting it off won't help put the new one in, still have to twist it through and in place
