URGENT: Need help installing Pionner P3300BT headunit!!!

The sound is incredible compared to the stock unit (i had the non jbl system) I have my first gen ipod touch hooked up to the pioneer unit via the usb cord and all my songs are lossless audio (.flac) so they are around 1000 kbps compared to the standard 126-320 kbps you get with .mp3. You will definitely notice a difference! I'll post a pic of the unit later today when i get back from work.
(before installing this unit, i had my ipod hooked up to the tape deck using a cassette tape with a cord that went to my ipod. Never got the full audio experience with that so this pioneer unit blows my previous setup way out of the water!)

I'm also planning on getting two headrest with the screens in them and possibly hook up an xbox 360 to it, but i'm still trying to figure this one out. I have a thread i started on that topic here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/91473-headrests-screens-them.html I'm hoping that doing the bypass wont interfere with this kind of setup. I might not be able to bypass if im hooking up extra screens to it, but im not so sure.

Just a quick picture i took of the pioneer head unit 3300bt. I got two headrest with screens on the way that will hook up to this. Performs way better than the stock radio! Thanks for all the help guys!

That's a nice setup, and you got the dvd button which is a nice touch! These units are very nice and i'm very happy with it. :bigok:
 
I'm installing the Pioneer AVH-4300DDVD into an 07 Limited with JBL/NAV. Just bought the Scosche harness from BB and hooking up. I also have the TATO which doesn't seem as nice. Think I have everything under control, but am I going to loose back up cam? Is there another adapter for that?

Edit: I only have 5 wires connected from the radio to the adapter. And where is the parking brake wire?

You picked an awesome day for your install. I live in Fairfax. Installed my AVIC tow weeks ago. I hope you have better luck with your TATO than I did. I am less than thrilled with it. I don't know if the trick is the same with the AVH, but for the AVIC you grounded the parking brake with another wire to by pass it. Other wise I assume you are fishing under the dash.

Hah, that is exactly why I installed today. Well I got it in and working thank god. I need to get the side pieces now. The dash kit I bought doesn't fit. I think the TATO isn't that great. The other harness seems better quality and has a smaller foot print. Their tech support was pretty good too. I think I need to get the steering wheel control too.
I'm not too concerned with watching DVD's, but I really want to figure out how to get my rear view cam working. I guess I need a kit from the pin outs to an rca plug.

I would think that your rear camera should work without the parking brake. Does it would when you have it in reverse? What dash kit did you go with? I went with the Best Kit. It still required some trimming. It still doesn't fit exactly correct. I am going to order a new one that I can play around with and get the measurements correct to trim it with a router. The real problem with their design is they didn't take in to account that the clock display fits into the bezel.

If you are planning on adding the steering wheel controls, it is pretty easy. The connections are in the steering wheel. Mine already had the left hand side controls so I just had to add the right. It was about $100. If you don't have the controls it get very expensive because the air bag is different so that adds another $400 to the install.
 
I believe the pin outs you are referring to are for the Pioneer back up camera kit. There is just a RCA video input for a camera.
