Video Games?!

Need some help. The kids are driving the wife nuts stuck at home. Usually ipad is enough but think they are bored of youtube.

I have an XBOX One. Years old time to dust it off hope it still works. So assuming it still works is it pretty much the same as a XBOX One S now with less HDD space?

I can care less about the resolution since its for the kids. As long as it can play the same games I think I would be happy. I've just been out of it for so long already.

The xbox one and xbox one S are pretty much the same. Play all the same games and graphics on both are great. The xbox one S will play some games in 4K, but that doesn’t matter for what you are doing.

You can still download games to the hard drive of the xbox, saving you trips to the store to get new ones.

Good luck with everything, we are also having a hard time keeping the boys entertained. No sports, no camps, nuthin!

Stay safe and stay home

I've been playing Doom Eternal. I think I'm nearing the end of the game, and there's one fight on your way to getting a crucible or something, and it's just murdering me. It's funny because right before that fight I got one of those slayer gate keys or whatever it's called and fought one of the harder optional fights in the game and beat it.

So I decided to dust off Jet Set Radio after getting my butt chainsawed off. I'm right up to the point where you go to Grind Square.

I also got Granblue Fantasy Versus because I'm an Arc Systems Works fanboy, but it just seems meh to me.

I would not even start this conversation. I wasted so many years on games, it's horrible. Now I like only this website because I cannot play a lot. Few hours a day is enough for me, especially when I'm working.

I see that you have a great gaming experience)) I myself just got tired of video games. Probably this happens to everyone sooner or later. I gave up and switched to multiplayer pc games like DOTA2. This is generally a special case)) It is important for me that here is not only a game but also a large community. This makes life much more convenient. I watch streams on Twitch and the results of past matches at I have a lot of friends online to play on the weekend now.

I had a similar story but I switched to League of Legends  same reasons of awesome community, great multiplayer, fantastic gameplay. Moreover it is easy to get high-class boosters and become a much more valuable gamer for the community and the friends :lightsaber: btw a little gaming hack: if you choose to buy any WoW or LoL booster I strongly recommend to do it via GamersBay. Great reputation and pricing is 20% lower than on similar marketplaces.

I got into the Guilty Gear Strive closed beta over the weekend. It was full of :toilet: regarding technical difficulties even getting matches started, but I thought it was pretty fun once I did get in game.

I got Grid 2019 at launch last year. I played it for a couple hours but found it to be kind of meh. I got Gran Turismo Sport and a PS4 to play it on a little while after and found it to be way more fun, so I just played that instead. Before uninstalling Grid 2019 from my PC, I decided to play it some more and mess with some control settings. I dialed things in some, and while it's not a great game, it's still pretty fun. Driving the Subaru BRZ in the tuner category is enjoyable, and I just drove the Subaru WRX STI some. It was pretty good, too.

Dirt 5 was just announced recently. I loved Dirt 2 so much when I played it soon after building my first PC. No other Dirt game did it for me as well as Dirt 2. Still, I enjoyed all of them. I'm thinking about reinstalling Dirt 3. I originally bought the first version to come out, but they gave previous owners on Steam the complete edition for free. I never had any of the DLC, so the complete edition is a huge plus for me because it comes with all of the DLC. I never played the complete edition, though.

Codemasters racing games have their ups and downs, but they're still pretty fun. I've enjoyed them on my PCs over the years.

ok top six.. lol all the games are awesome!

legend of zelda ocarina of time N64 was the best RPG I've ever played.

golden eye.. hours spent killing friends with paintballs? lol

mario cart was awesome!,

River city ransom for regular Nintendo was epic!

star fox n64 was cool

GTA series, hours of watching paramedics give CPR to people you killed with a chainsaw lol or who can live the longest with most stars haha

good times for sure!
im a fan of the Fallout games. I think 3 is my favorite. or at least the one I spent the most time on.

I recently finished GOW on the ps4, and Horizon. zero dawn. both excellent games.
oh, the Uncharted games are good too.

I like open world games.

I built a hyper-spin system, and have a LOT of games to choose from. I get to relive my childhood games whenever I want. but lately have been playing a lot on the ps4.

my all time favorite may be an 8bit game on the NES. Dragon Warrior. way too many hours spent on that. lol.
Hahaha, old bump, but I couldn't resist when I saw dragon warrior! I remember that game from the late 80's. Spent way too many hours on it. A Wyvern draws near!

Just cause 4 is pretty dang fun.

Haven't been into games for 10+ years... Got a PS4 for my son recently and have been enjoying Just cause 4. You can drive just about anything that you come across.

That's good. I heard Just Cause 3 was a big disappointment from Just Cause 2. The second is the only one I ever played. It was a lot of stupid fun, too.

Dude, you've got to check out Gran Turismo Sport if you want to drive. It's not something that really caters to 4Runner sensibilities, but if you still enjoy what it offers, it's great.

I'm hoping Dirt 5 brings back SUVs like Dirt 2 had. Maybe they'll get the 4Runner. Dirt 2 had the FJ Cruiser. I'm not sure if Codemasters gets Toyota vehicles in their games anymore, though. I know Grid 2 and Grid 2019 didn't have any Toyotas. It's been long enough since I played Dirt 4 or Dirt Rally 2.0 that I don't remember. I'm currently playing Dirt 3, and there are a couple Toyotas in that game.

Thanks for the commendation...

Speaking of 4runner .. is there a good off roading game?

Business idea - Overlanding game and modding your rig and trailer :guitar3:

The latest is SnowRunner. SnowRunner on PS4 | Official PlayStation™Store US

I don't have it, but I might check it out one day. It's an Epic Store exclusive right now on PC, so I'm not inclined to do so anytime soon.

Before that was MudRunner. MudRunner on PS4 | Official PlayStation™Store US

I've been meaning to check out MudRunner for years. I never did. Maybe during the next Steam sale.
