Well i finally got my hands on a runner. Picked it up from a fellow member franco. Made a 12 hour trip up to north carolina, spent the night and then drove 12 hours back with this awesome runner. This is my first build thread of any kind so it'll be a little rough around the edges. I'll eventually add some pictures shot with my good camera and of course some offroad shots.

Searching for my light bar it seems there's not too many roof mounted options other than an aftermarket roof rack. Also ordering the reverse LED bars soon!

My shackle hitch mount came in and I got that mounted up. This thing is pretty heavy duty and looks great.

And i went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Whitson Metalworks full length roof rack. I opted for the 100% coverage because I have never really used the sunroof on any of my vehicles. Also ordered a 40" double row light bar and had it sent to josh at WMW so he can make the rack fit perfect for the light bar.

And i have some small 7" LED pods on the way to mount underneath facing to the rear, I'm going to wire them into my reverse light power for some extra brightness at night.

Hopefully I can work on plasti dipping the rims / grill this weekend and even maybe work on the internal snorkel mod. Lots of work to do.

LOVE the wheels, don't ever change them. I have the same design on my F-250. Happy to be a part of your build, you've got a killer start already.

Thanks man I appreciate it! And that's the great thing about plasti dip though, if I decide the chrome / polished look is better ill just peel it all off!

So today i knocked a few things off my to-do list. Plasti dipped the grill, rear chrome piece and my rims. I am extremely happy with the results. Got everything looking good even though the truck was super muddy from last night shenanigans.

Lots of prep work to start. Removed the grill, taped off everything etc. I decided to just keep the wheels on and cover everything pretty good to catch the overspray. The note card method didn't work on the rims so we just used some painters tape.

All in all a pretty good day.

My WeatherTech's came in today and I have to say I am impressed with this product. They look great and the fit is Perfect. I only thing I'm bummed about is that my cargo liner hasn't came yet, only the front seats and rear seats. Not sure if it's because I have third row seating and that takes more time to produce or what, anyways onto some pictures.

Well i have a few things to update in this thread including the picture. But tomorrow is a big day, making the 2 1/2 hour drive to Josh over at Whitson Metalworks to pick up my rack!

See you tomorrow! Would you be up for slapping the light bar in there and taking a few pictures at a spot real nearby? I'd like some full length floor pics.
