Wanted: 2006 6 disk JBL head unit

let me know...

P.S. I bought all the parts for the rear diff breather, going to do install over t-day weekend... hope it works.

Is this the panel you are looking for?

I think that it would fit believe it or not. As long as it is the 4 wheel drive panel with the selector switch for high and low 4WD here is the pic, must look like this, but with the larger opening for the head unit, and all of the switches and the AC vents come off. Well I will not get too far ahead of myself, but if yours is the right one, yes we can work out a deal.

Hivel,
Could you give me the radio # on the front of your new unit. Looks like its in the upper right corner. It should begin with a T ( I think )

OK parts are starting to come in, Maybe by the weekend I will have this mod finished and complete... I hope

OK I have all of the parts, but it turns out the computer that I have is the wrong year, it is an 03 or 04 so it has no airbag light under passenger on the display... so when I hooked it all up the airbag light came on on the under the tac... strange I thought, so I took the older computer (that fits the head unit) off and put mine on that fit the smaller head unit and the airbag light went off, so I am back to square one, the computer does not fit

Here are some pics,

also If anyone wants to trade computers or the panel and the computer I will... plus I will cover the shipping

OK so I need a 2005 AC/computer that fits the CD changer panel, I have an old one, but it causes an electrical error of some sort with the airbags,

I have my 05 panel and ac/computer (noted as with out CD changer in parts manual) up for trade if anyone is interested.

I can't see the pics you posted at my work computer (crazy gov't firewalls), but I had to do something similar. The guy I traded head units with, we had to swap out the AC display so his abs light would go off.

Prozac and I had discussed us swapping the computer, but we didn't take any pictures of the process. It's pretty easy though as it is held on by a couple screws and a computer ribbon cable.

Check the thread I linked earlier in your thread.

Sharp I did what you said and it worked, I switched the computers inside,
so the readout does not show if the airbag is on or not, big deal, but it worked... well that about wraps it up for me... I hope...

pic to follow

OK so it does not have the airbag light on/off but it all works electronically. Here is the finished product, I finished, it was trying, but I finished it...

Ok even better, I am really thrilled about this, I found out that the plastic covers on the AC panel/computer come off with gentle pressure and I switched them along with the internals on the ac/comp panel, awesome. I have the whole problem solved now. I hope... here are the pics notice the word airbag under passenger, and the on/off light..
that was just the little thin piece of plastic that pops off the front of the panel.
