Long weekend roadtrip with the wife, dog, and new baby to NH. This is the first trip with the new baby, and with our luggage, the dog's bed, the baby stuff like the pack n play, stroller, playmat, etc, the truck is packed to the gills. Will need to be looking for rooftop carrier ideas soon. We like to go camping and there's no way we could fit all that gear into the back as well!

I have to put black magnetic stuff over them at night or they will tow it. LOL It won't fit in my garage. The door is not tall enough, even without the rack. haha

Oh well, we wanted a bigger place anyway.

Drove from Citrus County Florida to Laurel MD. 861miles in 15hrs 10min. on 3 hrs sleep, with about 500lbs of stuff including a hitch rack which made the front feel a little light.

2012 TE:

1. Took out stock/OEM rear sliding tray cover (it's a fitted rubber mat that just covers the tray) and put in WeatherTech rear cargo liner (black) designed for non-3rd row seating & non-rear sliding cargo tray. Result is that entire rear cargo area (sliding tray and recessed, covered tool nooks between tray and rear seats) are covered by a single rubber mat. And it's all perfectly flat for the dogs. I like it.

2. Planning on the first wash of this thing...thought silver would look cleaner longer. Opps.

3. Adding this bullet much later as they just arrived at the door: Added new WeatherTech front and rear seat floor liners.

Ok so it wasn't today but last weekend the fiance and I drove from Renton, WA to outside Eugene, OR and back in a day to look at our new bird dog (German Shorthaired Pointer) puppy (about 600 mile round trip). The best part is we avg. 24.2 mpg doing 65-75mph the whole trip :driving:, this is with stock everything and standard tire pressure. Once the mods begin probably not going to see that again, but I'll take it for the time being.

Got up early and didn't feel like sitting around so I took my little buddy for a hike. It ended up being a little too long, and a little hotter than I thought it would. End result: I had to carry him for a mile and a half on the way back to the car. LOL First time I have ever had to do that. LOL

Picked up my new TRD shifter. I have a clear aluminum Icon transfer case knob on order to match. Best part was the stealer had emailed me a $25 loyalty coupon off a $100 purchase... shifter + a new oil filter was exactly one hondo :naughty:
