Installed the Gobi ladder last night. Gotta read the instructions next time! Was trying to rush it to make dinner reservation. What a pain in the but having to peel those tape off of the truck, especially the top mounting plate. 30 min job turned into an hour and a half. And missed my dinner reservation.

I kicked the 4Runner out of the garage because my wife wants her MINI and new Prius v in the garage. I guess it is time to get the front windows tinted and some of those sun shades for the windshield.

Poor guy hasn't been driven since Tuesday.

It didn't have a sticker price on it, it was next to a 2012 Land Cruiser, albeit to show how things have improved over the years. Funny thing is and maybe I'm strange but if they had given me the choice between the two for free I would have taken the old LC over the new one...:thumb3:

Well, the one side of the garage is MINI sized rather than Prius or 4Runner sized. We might move the Prius out of the garage since it is a company lease and we don't intend on owning it more than the lease term.

Put the truck up on the lift today and ran a tap through the mount points for the skids after stripping them out. Fixed them all in about 15 minutes then hid underneath waiting on the rain to stop.

dropped 'er off at Toyota to get my seatback fixed finally. Let's hope they can replicate the driveshaft clunk while it's there. I made sure to detail it yesterday. I'm not sure why i think that is important to do before going to the dealer.

Received last minute invite to climb St. Helens... Probably should have prepared a bit better for it, but was asked on Saturday to join and climb was yesterday. Parked the 4Runner at Climbers Bivouac Monday night, pulling the new tent/trailer, and started up Tuesday at 6:30AM. Took about 8 hours total. Best part was glassiding down.

Haven't move my 4Runner in about a week, washed it real good yesterday, I've been enjoying the Corvette lately....

All the roads leading to the farm were either gravel or dirt. Fun!
