Had to do maintenances and repair at my secondary home yesterday(a home that I rent, as a landlord, don't know how to call that).
So, having had pickups (my last was a tacoma), I had some doubts in the loading capacity of the limited I bought. Sure, I could buy a trailer, but for now that is not an option. I was positively surprised:
I loaded my folding ladder (about 5'7" tall folded, and a heavy one), cirular saw, jigsaw, drill, paint and all hardware related to painting, a long broom to wash the house facing, shovel, and miscellaneous hardware to complete the kit stuffed in a big toolbox.
I placed a bedcover to protect the second row top seat and strapped the ladder using the 4 hooks. Then I used the straps to hold the tool box shovel and broom, and fitted the rest of the hardware in the ladder's openings. I even still had height clearance for much more stuff.
Next time I load it up, I'll try to think about taking pics, and show some use of the cargo hooks. Sure, I don't think they will hold solid a 400lb engine, but for normal usage they hold up well. And in the end, I had made just a very few, very minor scratches to the interior trim.
