Sitting at a stoplight on the way home from work today, I realized that in the 14 months I've owned her... I've averaged just under 650 miles a month. ~3200 miles for some Road Trips (DC to Florida, DC to SC, DC to NYC) then ~ 9000 miles for the last 14 months. Current mileage = 12345

:dammit: I need to drive some more.

Returned from Crescent City CA Redwoods

I did a 1,160 mile round trip from Yakima Washington to Crescent City California in my 2011 T4R SR5 to see the Redwoods. The T4R ran flawless there and back. 19.6 mpg on I-5 at 76 mph and 22.4 on Hwy 101 at 60 mph. Sorry for the dark pictures it was overcast, raining and in a forest

I hit the two year anniversary today and have 32,000 miles on it. I haven't driven these many miles since my college days.

My comically large (to me) tires. They're only 285/70/17 duratracs, but man, having 5 of them in the living room looked ridiculous.

I use the runner for over landing purposes more than anything an I could never understand why Toyota would design a hood scoop that literally directs light directly into your eyes. So I since I'm on another road trip, I stopped by a vinyl shop and got my hood covered in flat black. What a relief!!!

And it probably smelled just a ridiculous! I don't know how you can survive with that fresh rubber smell in your living quarters, lol.

Fresh rubber smell is probably a relief since it's masking the cat litter smell.

Hah, it's all true -- I moved them into the garage as soon as I got home.

The cats are really good about burying their, uh, product, so that aspect is far more tolerable than the tire smell

Dude, I had my second set stacked in the corner of my apartment for so long. Did you enjoy the smell they gave off lol? Made my place smell like a tire shop for quite a while.

Had some service done. I like the poster in the top of the background of the classic Toyota truck. Oh yeah, and I found out they washed my truck after the oil change. My heart dropped and I cringed. I didn't know that this was part of the procedure and I wasn't informed that they were going to do that. Even though it gets scratched from playing in the woods, I still professionally wash and care for my truck. Who knows how these monkeys at the dealer do it or what they use. I didn't like hearing that one bit.

I had the same reaction. (I know its a free service but it was pouring rain that day - Didnt expect a wash) I found a small gash on my front grill where I plasti-dipped the chrome. Looks like someone took their nail and tried to scratch it to what it was.

I couldn't stand hearing they did that. It's not like they take their time and do it right. I couldn't imagine them using the two bucket technique with a grit guard haha. Or what type of wash mitt they use. I'm just anal.
