What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Nothing too major. Just wheels and tires...

Installed LED Xmas Lights

The 5th Gen and a Baja Rack provide the backdrop for rolling Xmas cheer.

We got four or 5 inches in Northern NV. I slipped on my rear walking my dog but haven't needed 4wd on the 4R yet.
Starting to appreciate my Bridgestone Revos.

Back at discount! :D
7y5uty4a.jpg

I was at Discount Tire today too, and coincidentally the manager recommended those same Duratracs.

P.S. That's quite a shine you've got there Hoss, but can you work on a better reflection. Instead of a dude a work shirt...say a girl in a bikini ??

Well, it's not exactly J.Blick-like but I guess it will do.:photo:

I don't see you doing any better? Just so you know, I spent at least 15 minutes setting up the tripod to take this shot for you (but that's because I was too lazy to stand outside in the cold so I set it up around me while I sat in the drivers seat, lol)

I don't know, mr Ant. He's got the cool needle extended exposure thing going on here.

At least someone appreciates it!

Oh thank God, I thought I was getting migraine symptoms.

If that gave you a migraine, I don't want to know what this is going to do to your head:

As it was 66 degrees in DC, I took the day off and spent time doing paint correction... the dealership had some kind of glaze wax that hid swirls and scratches all over the truck... I honestly couldn't believe how bad it was on a brand new vehicle... made me wish I had gotten a white TE... Anyways, a buddy and I stripped off the wax, polished the paint, and sealed it with opticoat 2.0. It's not perfect, but much better than it was. I have this stuff on my CTS-V and it holds up well against the elements... tar, tree sap, bird turds, all come right off and keep the paint looking great. pictures to follow as it got dark by the time we finished. clear bra and tint are going on this weekend.

5th Gen Balancing Act

Tried to balance my 2010 on two wheels, opposing sides when traversing a ditch today. I had it for a minute until the dirt started to move under the weight. Bone stock Trail Edition with Cooper Discoverer Tires.

Had to run an errand over ice and snow covered roads, almost two feet of drifts in some places.

When things thaw, I'm guessing some plastic panels won't fit the way they did before the snow.
