If you, [MENTION=99235]Scott@Hightech[/MENTION], and I can coordinate, I'm betting high tech can get you a replacement shock without having to remove it. You might have to come out of pocket first and then get reimbursed when high tech gets the warranty payment from the distributor.

Loaded up and spent all day at The 'Stick with my buddies. We've been season ticket holders for 8 years and it's continuing in Santa Clara. Nice sendoff for the old gal. We like to say, "It's a sh*thole, but it's our sh*thole" GO NINERS!!!!

Also ran into another T4R.org member, [MENTION=49711]TTown[/MENTION]. He parked next to me in his '10 Blizzard Pearl Limited. We talked a little shop and SeattleMike came up. We poured some out for him. Good times.

Man I love your mud flaps.. sounds crazy but they just look so right. I'm glad you guys made it up there, I watched it from home but what a great game. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Still on a LONG trip. The plan is to have "no plan". Here's a preview. I think when I get back I'm going to jumble all of my photos into a "photo thread". :no idea:

So technically I didn't do this today(I did it yesterday) but I finally swapped all the interior lights to Cool White LEDs and now I'm pissed it didn't come this way from the factory. Those stock lights sucked and now I can actually see how dirty the inside of my Trail is.

Definitely a worth while mod and it only cost $75 plus 30 minutes of my time.

Custom Mattress Pad

After checking the neanderthal air mattress options, for the back of my T4R, I commissioned a local mattress company, to build me a custom fit pad. I picked it up today. It's three inches of foam with a pillow top. It's 44" X 66" and fits perfect with the second row seats folded down. Not wanting to see it get dirty, I hauled it over to a tent and awning business, to have a slip cover custom made for it. I selected a non-girlie-man MARPAT material, which will look good in the back of the T4R flat space. It should be ready next Monday. I'll post some pictures of this mod then. My costs are: $140.27 for the pad and $91 for the MARPAT cover = $231.27. I figure it's money well spent for a comfortable night's sleep. The pad is flexable enough to "S" roll and store behind the upright second row seats

Pretty cool! Way less expensive than I thought it would be. Definitely post some pictures and provide the info for the shops you used if you don't mind!

Had a Ford Ranger back into me at lunch a few months ago and finally got around to getting it into the shop to have the rear bumper cover replaced. United Collision in Atlanta did a nice job. They also swapped out the chrome door handles with the body colored handles I had been hauling around since Spring. Amazing how much better it looks as the chrome is removed....it helps with the envy I have for the Canadian SR5.

I did the "no plan" plan when I separated from the Army a few years ago. Decided I needed some alone time, and took off around the country for several weeks. Some of the best memories of my life and really helped me get things in perspective.

I also did that in 2004, in a Subaru Outback. 11,000 miles. Dang I sure wish I had my 4runner for that trip! Although the Subi was a great vehicle for sure. My friend still drives it today and it's got well over 200k on it. It was a really great experience. And I really got to test that vehicle. I discovered that it was quite proficient offroad too!
